Dear colleague,

We have the pleasure to invite you to attend to the XL COSAC which will be held in Paris, during the French Presidency of the European Union.

Our meeting will take place at the Senate (Palais du Luxembourg - 15, rue de Vaugirard – Paris 6e) on Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 November 2008. The event will begin on Sunday 2 November 2008, at 7 pm, with a reception at the Institut du Monde Arabe (IMA), including a guided tour of the exhibition « Bonaparte and Egypt », organized in the framework of the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue.

Please find enclosed the draft agenda of the XL COSAC, prepared accordingly to the results of the COSAC Chairpersons' meeting in Paris, on 7 July 2008, and the meeting registration and hotel reservation forms as well. We would appreciate if you could fill out and return these forms before 15 September 2008.
